Critical Issues in Teacher Education [CITE]

Critical Issues in Teacher Education is a refereed journal that is published at least twice a year. Articles may be submitted by IATE members and non-members alike to the Journal Chair. CITE is mailed to all IATE members as a member benefit.

Illinois ATE Newsletter

The IATE Newsletter is printed four times a year. Articles may be submitted by IATE members directly to the Newsletter editor. The newsletter is mailed to all IATE members as a member benefit.

New Member Handbook

The New Member Handbook is provided as a member benefit to those persons who are beginning their membership in Illinois ATE. It contains information about the organization, programs, publications, and governance.

Illinois ATE List Serve

"The Illinois ATE List Serve is hosted by Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. To post a message on the List, you address your message to iate@lazarus.wheaton.edu. All messages should reflect the interests and policies of the Illinois ATE.

To subscribe to the List Serve, you send an email message to listproc@benjamin.wheaton.edu. You write nothing in the subject line. In the message area you write only "subscribe IATE". You will receive a copy of your message as an acknowledgement of your subscription.

Continuing Professional Development Units [CPDU]

The Illinois ATE is an approved provider of CPDU credits for certificate renewal in Illinois. Conference presentations and attendance are a source of CPDUs for teachers in Illinois.

Making a presentation at a conference -- 8 CPDU for first presentation. Evidence -- Program with presentation marked.

Attending and participating in a conference -- 1 CPDU per hour. Evidence -- Form 4B and program with attendance marked.
