The Psychology Major Curriculum

In a perfect world, we would suggest taking the psychology major in the following way.  Of course we realize that sometimes people are unable to take these courses in this way.  However, this would be an ideal schedule especially for those planning on attending graduate school.

For a psychology major at McKendree College, you must complete Introduction to Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Senior Survey, Experimental Psychology, and Clinical and Counseling psychology, and SPSS.  The remaining 32 credit hours come from electives in psychology.  Therefore, this major allows for a great deal of flexibility and customization while still providing you with a solid theoretical and research based foundation.
