CJ Dulaney Gundamzero4@aol.com

My name is (trumpet sounds) CJ Dulaney. I am presently a junior at McKendree College (surprise surprise) and I am a computer science major, and possibly a mathematics minor. I must say that I am in love with anime, but my passion has not gone past watching them on television. It’s the problem of being a poor poor :-( college student who spends too much time doing programs. I don’t have much anime, and presently I am reading the manga Samurai Deeper, King of Hell, and my fave, Rebirth.

I first started to get into anime when I was a freshman in high school. I remember the first time I saw one, I got home from school, turned on cartoon network, and watched the first episode of Dragonball Z. Oh yeah. That spawned the interest, and it has only grown. As of right now, my favorite animes are Trigun (GO VASH!!!), Inuyasha, and I must say I still hold a special place for Gundam Wing.  I also am planning to buy Crest of the Stars whenever I actually save up enough money. I also like Princess Mononoke and Grave of the Fireflies did bring a tear to my eye, though I will never admit it.  Oh wait, DANGIT!  ANYWAY.

The single greatest addiction of mine is video games. I own every system that has ever been in existence, from the original Sega master system, Atari, and the nes, to now the Gamecube, Xbox, and PS2.  Unfortunately, I gave them all, except the last three, to my older brother when he moved out. Nuts. This is another reason that I am a poor college student. Every time I save up some money, I blow it on the next Final Fantasy (like X-2 coming out, oh yeah baby, A SEQUEL) or Zelda....or Metal Gear.....or Resident Evil....or Star Wars....or Alien vs. Predator....ok, I'm going to stop there, but trust me, I can keep going. I enjoy RPG's and adventure games, but first person shooters (like the immortal Duke Nukem) and action (can I say Bloodrayne) definitely have their place. Like when you need to release some excess stress. I have this little dream of mine that someday I will see my name in the credits that nobody ever reads at the end of a game, but that remains to be seen.

I am presently working at Sears at St. Clair Square mall, but I'm trying for a job at Scott Air Force Base. Unfortunately, you may need to be willing to move after graduation, and I'm not totally up for that, so that remains to be seen. If I am not at work, then usually I am at school working on programs, at home FEEDING the game addiction, or trying to eak out some meager form of a life with a lovely woman that I know. In fact, I've never really been in an actual club before, just because of my normally private behavior, so this is really new to me. But then again, I never really had a group that encouraged my interests, so this should be very interesting indeed.

Catch ya later,
cj
